About 25 years ago I mistakenly reprimanded a new member of IVC -or potential member -for not paying for a ticket for an event (probably something like £3) she did not take this well and became very upset. Jenny appeared on the scene and asked what the matter was and then said what a lot of fuss over £3 !! Another time I was not very well after a traumatic event and was possibly starting to talk gibberish , some were concerned about this .At an event at Jenny and John's home I said ' there is a pink flamingo in Paphos Cyprus' (I had been there ) (as there was then) and some people gasped and said WHAT ? -she has finally lost the plot And then Jenny said yes there IS a pink flamingo in Paphos .- I was so grateful to her.
